Roger is compassionate about taking care of our seniors in their golden years. As a retiree, you should not have to relocate to a neighboring state in order to live.

Roger will fight for and support the following legislation as your representative:

- establish a fair flat tax for our seniors.

- reduce the income tax burden for our military retirees.

- establish a Smarter Retiree Program by allocating $100 million from the Maryland Lottery System, so each Maryland Retiree can attend courses at a Maryland Community College free.

- establish a secure choice option for small businesses, so they can offer better retirement savings plans to their employees

In addition, Roger will adopt the MD Retired Federal Employees Association's initiatives and sponsor legislation in the following areas.

- Balance tax subtraction from income
- Promote long care insurance to reduce Maryland's MEDICAID burden
- Balance tax exemption for Maryland seniors
